The quaint Parish of Mears Ashby in Northamptonshire has a population of approximately 450 people and is conveniently located in the countryside, between the villages of Sywell, Earls Barton and Wilby, just outside the main towns of Wellingborough, Kettering and Northampton.
You may even see and hear the sound of a Spitfire flying overhead which is located nearby at Sywell Aerodrome, or the cows mooing in the field opposite.
Having visited many Bars and Restaurants over the years, the new owners would like to provide customers with something different, a warm, relaxing and sociable place to enjoy a drink with friends or experience a culinary delight in the restaurant.

It’s been a big project re-opening the Griffin’s Head, renovating the Bar area, stripping out and refurbishing the Kitchen area which all takes time, and it has been worthwhile in the end.
